Röjningsröse

In a landversation with the students of Kävesta’s folgshögskola we discussed and examined the röjningsröse in the field, a feature so prevalent in Swedish daily life. The origin, construction, upkeep and protection of these stone piles are of substantial importance as islands of biodiversity in todays monotonous agricultural landscape.
